?And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into and angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.? (2 Corinthians 11:14, 15).
The bible says that Satan and his bidders are out to infiltrate the church from within and deceive people, and deceive them in their prayer life, eliminate it. The bible says they are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
I ask the question, are you working out your salvation (Phil.2:12) and praying hard to only Jesus Christ? because if your not then you will not be able to overcome this evil force. You cannot pray to anything else besides the living God, nothing else will hear you. Did you know you can be deceived into thinking your praying to Jesus Christ but only speaking to the enemy.
I do not mean to scare no one, but it is very serious and unless you understand this, you will be like putty in the hands of Satan. Satan is actually running some churches and Paul wrote to believers to warn them about Satan and his devices. Just because some preacher or person professes to be a Christian, a moral man, a seminary graduate or has attended church for twenty years does not mean he or she is truly saved and a servant of Jesus Christ. There are false brethren (2 Cor.11:26) false apostles (2 Cor. 11:13) and the parable of the tares teaches that Satan has children and that he sows them wherever God sows true believers.
Satan will work through the mind and will set his workers in the church and wherever they may hold higher positions and as they infiltrate they will try and destroy the church one person at a time and then the church departs from faith and starts to believe ?doctrines of demons? (1 Timothy 4:1). Ephesians 6 verse 12 says we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but we wrestle ?against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.? His workers are subtle and discreet in their ways and work on your mind.
Do you think just because your praying in the secret that Satan or his bidders are not trying to distract you? Although I believe that if you are serving Jesus Christ in obedience that, the enemy will flee from you. Because he knows that your prayers are strong and are not hindered, that God is listening ?For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil? ( 1 Pet. 3:12 ). Are you professing to be a Christian but living a sinful life? Did you accept Jesus only because you thought that you should get it over with so that you can go out and do the same filthy things as before? The heart needs to be right with God, God knows the intentions of the heart, and your life will prove whether or not you are saved.
I title the teaching ?Where is Satan when you pray? because I want Christians and people who think they are saved to be aware of how cunning Satan and his followers are. Satan does not come to you and scare you but transforms himself into an angel of light even in your thoughts, as well as his ministers, the angels who followed Lucifer (Satan). If you are not understanding God?s Salvation and taking it seriously then you are deceived already. If you just think, the bible is a book and has some good stuff but do not believe everything it says then you are deceived. If we do not believe in what Jesus tells us about Satan and choose to disbelieve that there is a devil then you are being deceived. The Koran of the Mormons is taken seriously, they revolt when one offends this book, but when one shreds the bible or disregards it what do Christians do?yawn, oh well. Not that we should do harm to others but take a stand for Jesus, we can see by the Mormons actions that it is not the book of God, but of man.
If we do not take seriously that prayer is powerful and that our words are not merely words but that we are speaking to the God of the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the universe then we are not going to be heard. Is it no wonder that married Christians say I pray and pray but nothing is happening or changing but they are not loving their wife, and giving honor to them as the weaker vessel (1 Pet. 3:7). Their prayers are hindered.
Warren W. Wiersbe says, ?Satan is a destroyer and a divider when it comes to the church; but in his own kingdom, he is very well organized. Please do not get the idea that Satan today is reigning in hell and that all of his agents are sent forth from the pit. Satan is the ?prince of the power of the air? (Ephesians 2:2), and he ?prowls about like a roaring lion? on the earth? ( 1 Pet.5:8 ).
An angel appeared to Daniel in Daniel 10 verses 10 through 21; in verse 12 the angel told Daniel ?Then he said to me (Daniel), ?Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.?
We must believe, want to understand God?s holy words, and humble ourselves before Him we fear and trembling (Ps 2:11; Phil 2:12) knowing that He is the one true God. James 2 verse 19 says, ?You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble!? They believe, but lie to people that there are many gods and that you can find salvation through many sources and pray to many idols. I guess this goes to show you how good they are in deceiving many.
The enemy does not do good with a servant of the Lord who prays in humbleness, without self-seeking and selfishness. But prays continually for the brethren, gives thanks always, intercedes with prayer for the hurting and lost, lifting up others and self esteeming others more than himself. Who reads the word of God, asks for wisdom, for boldness, and love to overcome his fears that he might take fourth the word of God to everyone who needs to hear it, and makes disciples.
Without a relationship with Jesus Christ, you will not be able to understand all that He wants to give you, and you will not be able to withstand the power of the devil and his bidders, you must be born again.
