?He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord? (Psalm 112:7)

Without it the Gospel and the faith in Jesus Christ is made null and void and is a useless thing to seek after, when you don?t obtain trust. People ask all the time ?does God hear my prayers? is God listening to me. The answers come from the bible and sin separates us from God hearing us, He chooses according to His own words to turn a deaf ear to us unless we are born again and repentive.

If we trust in the Lord God Jesus and not in anything of the world we essentially do not fear bad reports or rumors and our understanding is firm or stable as we are secure and confident in the Lord Jehovah. We believe without a doubt that the word of the Gospel is truth and we trust by prayer that God is hearing us, as long as we are Born Again and are following Jesus Christ wholeheartedly on a daily basis.
The writer in Hebrews says in chapter 13 verse 18 ?Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.? Do you as a Christian have confidence that your conscience is good and not defiled? Are you applying the word of God to your life and staying away from immoral things? Do you still desire to hang out with old friends, be at old hangouts, and rationalize it as ok? See, if we are trusting and praying in the Lord then we should be living it, Jesus wants all of us and not just some of us, because He won?t transform and start the sanctification process unless you are truly born again, on fire for Him only. Your desires should be to allow Jesus Christ to conform you to His image and to use you for the sake of others finding salvation. The question comes up, are you truly saved and trusting in the Lord? Or did you say a sinner?s prayer to try out Jesus and see if it would work for you, because then I don?t believe Salvation is of you.

Psalm 4 verse 5 says ?Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.? Being faithful and Loyal to Jesus is what we commit when we accept Him and not just for a time but enduring to the end of the era. You need to offer all of you, not as with a worldly sacrifice, but as a living sacrifice, living in the righteousness of God, for His purpose and will to work in you and through you as He fills you with the Holy Spirit. King David says in Psalm 5 verse 11 ?But let all those rejoice who put their trust in you; let them ever shout for joy, because You (Jesus) defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in you.? When you are trusting in Jesus who is alive and once lived on this earth and is by all religions and cults recognized, then the scriptures say He will defend you. The religions and cults may not recognize Jesus as Savior and being part of the God head, fully man and fully God, but do attest to Him as being around.

You put your trust everyday in things you can and cannot see but have a hard time putting your trust in the creator of the earth, the heavens, the universe, of men and women, of all things created. You jet away on an airplane and put your trust in people you can?t see, you drive your car on the streets and trust that you will make it to your next destination and don?t know whether or not you will crash. You put your Trust in people who you don?t even know to cook for you at restaurants or fast food take outs. Everyday you put your trust in something and have faith that it will be ok. These are always unpredictable, and unstable, never the same from day to day.
When we are trusting in the Lord He is the same yesterday, today and forever into the future. He is always trustworthy, knows what is best for us, and even has a perfect plan for our life if we follow Him. ?And those who know Your name will put their trust in you; for you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you? ( Psalm 9:10 ). He will never leave us nor forsake us or leave us orphans when He calls us, not much I can say about people and the world. If you trust in Him and seek Him you will know Him and He will know you.

?Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy? ( 1 Tim.6:17 ). Do you want to be rich? Then trust in the lord and not in uncertainty as with money or material things or prestige. God gives richly to your body, mind and soul in that you will be at peace with the world around you and will not have to worry of things to come or circumstances. The Lord will be your defense and refuge in times of troubles and makes the way of escape always. 1 Timothy 6 verse 20 says to the Christian who is trusting ?O Timothy! ?Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge.? The Gospel is entrusted to the saints, those who are born again and we take example to avoid worldly knowledge.

We need not have to put our trust in science or medicine or things of this sort, not that these things are bad but trusting in them rather than in God is bad. Trusting in idols and of things made by mans hands is foolishness ?They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; they have ears, but do not hear; nor is there any breath in their mouths. Those who make them are like them; so is everyone who trusts in them. Don?t put your trust and faith in idolatry, because then you disobey God and His commandment and break fellowship with Him, and make yourself a friend of the world. Idolatry comes in many outwardly and inwardly ways and creeps in unnoticed and subtle, so beware and be alert as a Christian to examine yourself.

Trust in the Lord and continue in supplications and prayers day and night, don?t give into the pleasures of this world and don?t put any trust in the world because you essentially put your trust in Satan who is ruler and god of this world.

?Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him? (Psalm 2:12).
