As a preacher, you are teaching God’s Word, and lessons from it, to people in your church. Listen to/watch a past sermon you preached to see how often you said “I’. Use “I” less in your sermons. Keep the focus on God and the people who are listening to your sermon.

Here are more pastor preaching tips:
Prior to preaching your sermon at the pulpit, ask yourself a question. What is it that you want church members to do after hearing the sermon? You should be able to know what you want them to do.

Here's some tips to welcome church guests using a page on your church website:
First, the dress code. Can people dress casually at your church or is the service more formal? Whatever the dress code is, post it on your fist time visitor page. That way, visitors won't feel embarrassed when they show up in dress clothes if your dress code is casual, or in jeans if your church has a more formal dress code.
