The University of Minnesota officially has a new president. Joan Gabel began her position as the university first female president on Monday. Before coming to Minnesota, Gabel was Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at the University of South Carolina. The University of Minnesota Board of Regents unanimously elected Gabel into her post late last year. She has a five year contract. Senate next year. She will instead be running for re election as a State Senator. Housley represents Forest Lake and the Stillwater area. Senate election last fall to current Senator Tina Smith.

For the first time in what must be at least 200 days, I found a reason to power up my poor, neglected Wii. The awkwardly named New Super Mario Bros.
