Make mug cakes with box cake mixes for cheap desserts that last a long time- a couple tablespoons cake mix, some water, some chocolate chips, mix together, microwave, and eat. |

Regrow your vegetables- You can regrow onions and celery by putting the bottoms of them in some water. |

Make your own food, homemade food lasts longer (leftovers) and is less expensive than convenience foods. |

Make new meals out of leftovers- leftover chicken becomes chicken salad, etc. |

Make a large meal big enough to feed your family for a few days and freeze the leftovers. |

Buy a block of cheese because it's cheaper than buying slices of cheese. |

Make leftovers with leftover meats. Chicken salad and ham sandwiches for instance. |

Buy spaghetti noodles and sauce- it is always a quick and cheap meal so it's good to have in your pantry. |

Buy a big block of cheese to use in cooking. Use a little at a time, grate it if you have to like for tacos, etc. |
