Earning the βEat This!β calling card means pulling off a precise, high-risk play: getting 50 zombie kills with a single HKD scorestreak. This task asks for a packed horde, perfect timing, and careful resource planning. Many players who learn high-round control and tight routes practice in a to drill the exact steps without public match pressure. The card is a neat badge for any veteran who likes high-skill tasks.
Phase 1 β Prep for High Rounds and Essence
The first job is to reach rounds where zombie density makes this possible. You should aim for round 20 or later. The zombie count and spawn speed go up a lot after mid rounds, and by round 20 you can gather the numbers needed. You also need enough Essence to craft the HKD. Save your resources early. Buy perks that keep you alive and get at least one Pack-a-Punch level before you spend too much. The HKD costs a lot, so balance survival buys and the scorestreak fund. Do not craft the HKD until you are sure you can hold the area where you plan to drop it.
Phase 2 β Craft the HKD and Pick the Drop Zone
You must craft the HKD at the workbench; it does not come from the box or wall. Once you have the HKD, pick an open area to run hordes. The zone needs to be wide and clear so you can make big circles without hitting walls or stairs. The starting yard and large central yards usually work best. Avoid narrow halls and tight stairs because they break up the train and make the horde thin. Plan a route that gives you space to run, compress the horde, and a safe line to escape after you drop the HKD.
Phase 3 β Train the Mega Horde into a Ball
Do not shoot while you are building the train. Your goal is to collect a long string of zombies that you can then compress. Run your route and keep moving until the crowd behind you feels dense. When the horde is close and fast, make a sharp turn or a tight circle to force the front of the pack to slow and the back to pile in. Backpedal for a second if needed so the wave stacks up into a tight ball. The moment you see a compact cluster and you feel the screen get crowded, you are in position.
Phase 4 β Drop the HKD and Get Clear
Deploy the HKD in the middle of that tight cluster. The device takes a brief second to arm, so throw it slightly into the center, then move away fast. Sprint to a preplanned safe spot or loop out of the impact zone so the blast registers the kills without you getting downed. If you stand too close, you risk getting knocked out by the blast or lingering debris. The explosion and follow-up effects should hit a dense core and register many kills at once.
Practice Runs and Bot Lobby Tips
Rehearse the route and the compression move in a until the steps become second nature. In a bot lobby you can repeat the same turn, the same circle, and the same escape without losing a full public match or burning time with other players. Use those practice sessions to learn how fast zombies fill a corner and to time when to backpedal before you drop the HKD. |
