The green dot indicator appears when an application on your iPhone is using the camera. For example if you’re participating in a FaceTime call you’ll see a green dot. If you’re recording a video you’ll see a green dot. If an app is taking a photo you’ll see a green dot.Note that camera access includes microphone access. So  if you see the green dot an app is using both your camera and your microphone. You will not see the green dot and the orange dot at the same time.

Green Dot exited the second quarter with cash cash equivalents and restricted cash balance of $1.93 billion compared with the $1.56 billion witnessed at the end of the prior quarter. The company had no long-term debt. The company generated $161.5 million of cash from operating activities and capex was $31.4 million. At this time Green Dot has a poor Growth Score of F however its Momentum Score is doing a lot better with an A. Charting a somewhat similar path the stock was allocated a grade of B on the value side putting it in the second quintile for this investment strategy.

The iOS 14 has several new features this means you can now multitask and use FaceTime at the same time without exiting the video call screen. This means multitasking has become quite easier with the latest update. Nevertheless with so many new features Apple does not ignore the security of its users. A new Green Dot feature has been confusing numerous users as they are not aware of this security feature.
