"In the beginning, God (Elohiym-the Triune God) created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the waters." Gen 1:1,2.
Jesus Christ: "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things exist...For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell." Col. 1:13-19.
"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." 1 John 1:1-5.
The Holy Spirit: "By His Spirit He hath garnished the heavens; His hand hath formed the crooked serpent." Job 26:13.
"Thou sendest forth Thy Spirit, they are created: and Thou renewest the face of the earth." Ps 104:30.

When we celebrate the Sabbath, we are honoring Him as our Creator. |
